Algomo vs Ada

Ada is an enterprise product sold through a sales call, with voice, messaging and email as separate products and the contact-centre stack wired in. The split is a contract you can only estimate from the outside, against a free plan and an amount you set yourself.

What Ada costs, as far as anyone can tell

Ada publishes no prices. Its pricing URL on ada.cx, read on 3 September 2026, carries a form headed "Book a free consultation with our AI customer service experts" and nothing else: no tiers, no starting figure, no unit of billing anywhere on the site. Everything below comes from somewhere other than ada.cx, so rank it by how close it stands to a signed contract.

The strongest figure is Ada's own, published off its own site: Ada's listing on the Salesforce AppExchange, read the same day, says starting at $30,000 USD per company per year, on what it calls a consumption-based model. Next comes transaction data. Vendr's Ada page, read 3 September 2026, reports a median buyer paying about $72,000 a year across 114 purchases, with contracts from roughly $36,000 to $309,000; Vendr is a procurement platform reading its customers' invoices, so this is third-party data, not Ada's price list. Weakest, because it is a competitor's blog assembling secondhand reports, is Featurebase's Ada pricing page, last updated 3 March 2026: roughly $30,000 a year to start, about $1 to $3.50 per AI resolution, and $100,000 to $300,000 and more a year for enterprise deployments. The three agree on the shape, an enterprise contract in the tens to hundreds of thousands, and none of it is a number you can read on ada.cx or hold Ada to.

Algomo's price is on our pricing page. You pick a monthly amount: Free, then $50 to $4,300 a month on Business, Enterprise above that. It buys credits; a conversation that actually helped someone costs five credits, one that went nowhere costs nothing. The amount you picked is the most any one charge can be: there is no overage and no top-up, and if the credits run out before the month does, you renew early or wait.

Where Ada wins

A contact centre on Genesys or Amazon Connect, with ServiceNow or Salesforce behind it and a phone queue to automate, should be talking to Ada. Voice is a first-class product there, the named integrations are the enterprise stack, and the Developer Toolkit gives an engineering team APIs, MCP and SDKs to work with. We answer in web chat on your site, do not do voice or email, and connect anything only your staff can reach with you rather than from a catalogue.

A price you can read

Ada's pricing page offers a consultation and no numbers. The figures that exist are off-site: Ada's own AppExchange listing starts at $30,000 a year, and Vendr's transaction data puts the median contract near $72,000; the section above ranks all of it. Algomo's is on this site: a free plan, then $50 to $4,300 a month, chosen by you, and that amount is the most any one charge can be. It buys credits; a conversation that helped someone costs five, one that went nowhere costs nothing.

Two MCPs pointing opposite ways

Ada's Developer Toolkit exposes APIs, MCP and SDKs to integrate Ada into your existing enterprise systems, their words: a door into Ada. Algomo's MCP is the other direction. The whole platform is operated from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude, or from the dashboard, and the agent finds the endpoints your own pages call and runs them in the visitor's signed-in session.

Where these rows come from

Fetched 3 September 2026, from ada.cx. The consultation form and the absence of tiers are on the pricing page; Playbooks, the Performance Center, the Developer Toolkit with its APIs, MCP and SDKs, and the named integrations are on the platform page; Voice, Messaging and Email as products, the orchestration of multiple LLMs and the Toronto base are on the homepage. The integrations, resolution-platform and ai-agent pages returned 404 on the read date. The price figures come from Ada's AppExchange listing, from Vendr and from Featurebase, none of them ada.cx, and each is labelled at the point it appears. Algomo's cells are read from this site's pricing page.

Questions, answered

We run Genesys and Zendesk. Where does Algomo fit?

On your website. Algomo answers visitors there and your team takes over live when needed, with the transcript attached; on Business and Enterprise escalation is wired into the helpdesk you already use. It does not sit in your phone queue; if that is the job, Ada is the better fit.

Can we see it working before we talk to anyone?

Yes. The free plan is self-serve, so you can point it at your own site and judge it against your own questions before any call. Ada's route is a booked consultation.

What does Ada actually cost?

Nobody outside a contract can say exactly: ada.cx shows a consultation form and no numbers, Ada's AppExchange entry starts at $30,000 a year, and Vendr's buyer data puts the median at about $72,000 a year with contracts up to about $309,000, all read 3 September 2026. Algomo starts free, then $50 to $4,300 a month that you choose, and that amount is the most any one charge can be.

Do we have to migrate anything?

No. The agent works from the systems your site already uses, so nothing moves. Anything only your staff can reach, we connect with you.
