Tools
Four, described on Tools and requests. Each declares its MCP annotations: algomo_read is read-only, algomo_edit is a non-destructive write, algomo_publish and algomo_run are destructive, and algomo_run is open-world. Clients use these to decide what to confirm.
Instructions
The server's initialize response carries a description of the API: the four tools and the operations each one takes, the request shapes, how discovery, onboarding, recipes, sessions and dashboard links work, and the entity model. It describes the API and does not direct the assistant's behaviour toward you.
Catalogue
/mcp/catalog.json is the full registry as one file: the server, the four tools with their operations, every operation with its description, tool, gating and input and output JSON Schemas, the entity types, and the per-type schemas for the entity operations. It is public, cached for five minutes, and served with an ETag.
