Algomo vs Decagon
Decagon diagnoses the category's disease correctly: complex SDKs, black-box implementations, a vendor ticket for every change. Its cure is its own harness and its own deployment engineers. Ours is neither.
Like for like
Every Decagon cell was read from decagon.ai on 31 August 2026; the sources section below links each claim.
| | Algomo | Decagon |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Main job | Support and inbound sales, on your site | Enterprise support concierge |
| Published pricing | Yes: a free plan, then $50 to $4,300 a month, you set it | No: the pricing page is a 404 |
| Try it before a sales call | Free plan, self-serve | No: demo-gated |
| Built and operated from | Your own coding agent, over MCP | AOPs and Duet, their own harness |
| What answers the customer | Frontier lab models | Frontier and specialized models, their words, in their engine |
| Who does the deployment | The agent, from endpoints it discovers on your site | Their agent deployment engineering org; ROI in weeks, their words |
| Acts in the visitor's live session | Yes: co-navigates the page, calls run as the visitor | No |
| Channels | Web chat only | Chat, voice, email |
| Handover to humans | Live takeover by your team, conversation attached | Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom |
| Smallest customer it makes sense for | A five-person company, free | Enterprise: Chime, Duolingo, Hertz |
Same diagnosis, different cure
Decagon's own words about the field: a complex SDK, a black-box implementation, and a vendor ticket for every change after. We agree completely. Their fix is a better internal harness, AOPs written in natural language, and their own deployment engineers. Our fix is no internal harness at all: the platform is an MCP server, and every change is a sentence you type to the coding agent you already run.

Where Decagon wins
Voice and email as channels, and enterprise machinery around a big CX org: AOP review workflows, escalation into Zendesk and Salesforce, deployment engineering as a discipline. If you run a thousand-seat support operation, they built for you. We answer in web chat, and we built for the companies their sales process does not reach.
Proof before commitment
There is no Decagon you can try: every path in is a demo call. Algomo runs on your own site, against your own endpoints, on the free plan, before anyone from either company talks to you.
Where these rows come from
Fetched 31 August 2026, from decagon.ai. The proprietary engine on frontier and specialized models is on [the product overview](https://decagon.ai/product/overview); AOPs and Duet are on [their AOP page](https://decagon.ai/product/aop), which also carries the complex-SDK quote; the channel list, chat, voice and email, is their own unified-intelligence claim; escalation into Zendesk, Salesforce and Intercom is on [the integrations page](https://decagon.ai/product/integrations); ROI in weeks is on [the demo page](https://decagon.ai/get-a-demo); agent deployment engineering is named on [the careers page](https://decagon.ai/careers). [Their pricing page is a 404](https://decagon.ai/pricing) and no number appears anywhere on the site. Algomo's cells are read from [this site's pricing page](/pricing).
Questions, answered
Do we need a deployment team?
No. The integration step is the part the agent automates, and our deployment engineers are optional help for private systems, not a required rollout.
Can we see it on our own site first?
Yes, on the free plan, and you can test changes against your live site before saving them.
What about systems the agent cannot discover?
Anything behind a login is either run in the visitor's own session, or set up with us on Business and Enterprise.
