# The agent that answers the fit question, then books the partner who did that work

Every prospect on a consulting site is asking one thing: do you do our kind of work, at our size, in our sector. The answer is scattered across forty case studies, eleven sector pages and a practice description nobody has touched since 2023. Algomo answers it out of the work you have published, opens the nearest engagement beside them on the page, qualifies by asking what a partner would ask, and books the person who actually ran it. Fees, scope, conflicts and the advice itself are partner decisions, so it says so and hands the whole thread across.

## Answer it in the first reply, not in the discovery call

A prospect who has read three pages still cannot tell whether you have done their thing. The answer exists, spread over the case studies, the sector pages and a practice description nobody has touched since 2023, and no visitor is going to assemble it. Algomo reads the work you have already published and answers the specific question: this sector, this size, this geography, this problem, and the engagement where you did it. When the record is thin it says so, because a firm that claims every sector equally is a firm nobody believes.

- Sector, size and geography matched against real engagements
- The nearest case study named, not a page of adjacent ones
- That page opened beside them, in their own tab
- Where the record is thin, it says so rather than stretching

## Qualified by talking, so nobody spends a partner's hour finding out

The form is where a consulting enquiry goes to die. It asks for a phone number before it gives anything back, and what arrives is a name, a company and one line of free text, which is not enough to decide who should take the call or whether there should be one. Algomo asks what a good partner asks, in the order they ask it: what has actually gone wrong, what has already been tried, who owns the decision, whether there is a date. It keeps the answers in the words they were said in rather than compressing them into a score, so the person who reads them can see the reasoning and disagree with it.

- Problem, history, owner and timing asked in the thread
- Kept in their words, never flattened into a score
- Under your minimum, and it says so politely instead of booking
- Asked while they are reading, not at nine the next morning

## Book the person who has done it, and hand them the whole thread

A discovery call spent establishing what an enquiry already said is an hour of the most expensive time your firm sells. Algomo offers the real availability of the person who should take it, holds the slot inside the conversation rather than mailing a link that gets opened on Monday, and sends the whole exchange with the booking. The partner opens it already knowing the sector, the problem, what was tried last year and who signs, so the first ten minutes are about the work. Routing is on rules you wrote in plain language, which means practice, sector, geography and every exception you have, changed by saying so.

- Real availability, held in the thread, not a link by email
- Routed by practice and sector, on rules you wrote in words
- The whole exchange attached, in the prospect's own words
- The language they opened in, kept for the whole thread

## Not everybody on your site is a prospect, and none of them should reach a partner

A consulting website is read by candidates, by journalists on a deadline, by three people from the same procurement team, by a competitor, and by a client of yours with a question about the engagement running right now. Sending all of them down one contact form is how a live client waits four days behind a graduate application. Algomo works out which one it is in the conversation and sends each somewhere useful. It also names what it will not do on its own. What an engagement costs, what falls inside a scope, whether there is a conflict and what you would actually advise are partner decisions, so it stops there and hands the thread across.

- Client, prospect, candidate or press, decided in the conversation
- A live client sent to their engagement team, not to new business
- Fees, scope and conflicts handed to a named partner
- Nothing retyped, because the whole thread goes with it

## The questions asked before anyone is allowed to like you

The person who wants to appoint you is rarely the person who can. Before that happens somebody in procurement works through the frameworks, the certifications, the insurance levels, the references and the policies, and every one of those answers is already published: in a capability statement, on a trust page, in a PDF nobody has opened since the last renewal. Algomo answers them out of what you publish and says plainly where the record is thin. What it will not do is complete a supplier questionnaire, accept a term or put anything in writing that binds you, because a document with the firm's name on it is a partner's signature and not an agent's.

- Frameworks, certifications and cover answered from what you publish
- A lapsed certificate or one never held is said plainly
- No questionnaire filled in, no term accepted, nothing signed
- The procurement lead put in front of the partner who owns it

## What it finishes, and what a partner decides

Nobody regulates a strategy deck, so the line in professional services is the one the firm draws itself: what the work costs, what it includes, whether you can take it at all, and the advice you are paid for. Algomo runs everything up to that line, including the hours when nobody is at a desk, and stops there holding the whole conversation rather than a form fill.

### Do you do work like ours

Answered out of engagements you actually ran, matched on sector, size and geography, with the nearest one named rather than a page of adjacent ones.

### Show me the one nearest us

The case study opened in the visitor's own tab at the section they asked about, rather than a link posted into the chat and opened by nobody.

### Are we big enough to be worth your time

Asked and answered in the conversation. Below your minimum gets a polite no with something useful attached, on a boundary you described in plain language.

### Who would we actually get

Routed on your own rules, then booked into that person's real diary and held inside the conversation, with the whole exchange sent along with it.

### Are you on the framework

Frameworks, certifications, cover and policies read out of what you publish, with a lapsed one named rather than left for procurement to discover later.

### Are you hiring

Candidates are most of the traffic on a consulting site and none of the pipeline. Answered properly, pointed at the roles, and never routed to a partner's diary.

### What would this cost

It does not price work and it does not say what falls inside a scope. The question goes to a partner with the problem, the deadline and the thread.

### So what should we do

The advice is the thing you sell. It books the hour instead of producing a free version that is worse than yours and harder to charge for afterwards.

## What a professional services firm gets out of it

Your website is already the widest part of your funnel and the least worked part of it. The same agent turns the reading into qualified conversations and keeps everything that is not a conversation away from the people who bill.

### Enquiries from readers who would never fill a form

The people who read four case studies and left without typing anything are the largest audience you own, and the cheapest one you will ever have another chance at.

### Partner hours spent on the work

No discovery call spent on what an enquiry already answered. The qualifying happens before anyone is in a diary, and the ones that do not qualify never take an hour.

### Answered at the hour they read you

A prospect reading a case study at eleven at night is answered at eleven at night. A Saturday enquiry stops being a Monday enquiry, which is usually where it was lost.

### Every practice found, not the three on the front page

The work buried four clicks down gets offered by name when it matches, so the depth of the firm reaches people who would only ever have seen the homepage.

## Three differences, one loop

### It connects itself

Algomo discovers the endpoints your own pages call and reads the case studies, sector pages and people pages as they stand today. That is why the engagement it cites is one you ran, rather than a sentence from a deck exported in March.

### So its actions are real

Because it runs in the visitor's own session, it opens the case study beside them and takes them to the part they asked about, rather than describing where that part lives.

### And you run it by talking to it

A new practice, a minimum engagement size, a sector you will not take: say it in plain language and the next conversation follows it.

Only offer partner time on engagements above our minimum.

Done. Smaller enquiries now get the resources page and a polite no.

Discovery gives it live data. Live data makes real actions safe. Plain-language control keeps the partner's call yours.

## Questions, answered

### Qualifying prospects

**Can an AI agent qualify leads for a consulting firm?**

Yes, and it does it by talking rather than by collecting. It asks what has gone wrong, what has already been tried, who owns the decision and whether there is a date, in the order a partner would ask, and it keeps the answers in the words they were said in. What arrives is not a score out of a hundred but a conversation somebody can read and disagree with.

**Do prospects have to fill in a form to get an answer?**

No. It answers first and qualifies in the conversation itself, which is the opposite way round from almost every contact page in the field. The prospect who would never have filled the form still gets their answer, and you still get the context.

**What happens to an enquiry that is too small for us?**

Whatever you tell it to do with one. Most firms want a polite no with something useful attached, and you set that boundary in plain language: describe your minimum and the next conversation respects it, without anybody's hour being spent finding out.

### What it says

**How does the agent know what kind of work our firm does?**

From the work you have published. It reads the case studies, sector pages, practice descriptions and people pages as they stand on your site today, and answers with the engagement nearest to what the prospect just described rather than with a sector page about the category.

**What stops it overpromising to a prospect?**

It only says what your published work supports, and it names the gap when there is one instead of stretching a retail engagement into a healthcare one. Fees, scope and conflicts it does not touch at all, so the expensive kind of overpromise is not available to it.

**Will it give away our thinking?**

Not the part you sell. It will say what you have done, who did it and how long it took. It will not produce a free version of the advice, which is both the thing a prospect is fishing for and the thing that is worse coming from a machine than from you.

### The call

**Can it book meetings into a consultant's diary?**

Yes, against the real availability of the right person, and it holds the slot inside the conversation rather than emailing a link that gets opened on Monday. Google and Outlook calendars both.

**How does it decide which partner gets the call?**

On the rules you describe to it: practice, sector, geography, seniority and whatever exceptions you have. You change them by saying so in plain language, not by filing a ticket against your own agent.

**What does the partner actually receive?**

The whole exchange, in the prospect's own words, attached to the booking: the sector, the problem, what was tried before, the deadline and who signs. The call then starts at minute one rather than minute twenty.

### Setting it up

**Does setting it up need a developer?**

No. Algomo reads the pages your site already publishes and builds its own tools from the endpoints those pages call, and you set its behaviour in plain language rather than in a configuration screen.

**How long does setup take?**

Minutes for the public side. You can interrogate it against your own case studies before a prospect ever does, which is also the fastest way to find the sector page that has been wrong since 2023. Anything a signed-in customer can already see on your site, the agent reads in their own session. Anything only your staff can reach, we connect with you. You build and change it from Claude Code, Codex or any other tool that speaks MCP, the open protocol AI tools use to talk to each other, or from the dashboard.

**What languages does it work in?**

Whatever language the prospect opens in, and it stays in it for the whole conversation. On an international enquiry that routinely means the client's language throughout and the briefing to your partner in yours.

**What does it cost?**

You pick a monthly amount and it buys credits: a conversation that actually helped someone costs five, one that went nowhere costs nothing, and the amount is the most any one charge can be, so a piece of coverage that triples your traffic for a week does not raise the bill on its own. There is no overage: run out early and you renew early, or wait for the month to turn. Every number is on [this site's pricing page](/pricing).
