# Algomo vs Ada

Ada is an enterprise product sold through a sales call, with voice, messaging and email as separate products and the contact-centre stack wired in. The split is a contract you cannot price from the outside, against a free plan and an amount you set yourself.

## Like for like

Every Ada cell was read from ada.cx on 3 September 2026; the sources section below links each claim.

| | Algomo | Ada |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Main job | Support and inbound sales, on your site | Enterprise customer service that resolves and acts, across channels |
| Published pricing | Yes: a free plan, then $50 to $500 a month, you set it | No: a consultation form where prices would be |
| Try it before a sales call | Free plan, self-serve | No: every call to action is a demo |
| Built and operated from | Your own coding agent, over MCP | Their Performance Center and Playbooks; a Developer Toolkit for engineers |
| What answers the customer | Frontier lab models | Not named: industry-leading LLMs, orchestrated, their words |
| Stack | Any: it works from the endpoints your site already calls | Named enterprise integrations: Zendesk, Salesforce, Genesys, ServiceNow, Amazon Connect |
| Acts in the visitor's live session | Yes: co-navigates the page, calls run as the visitor | No: actions run through backend integrations |
| Channels | Web chat only | Voice, Messaging and Email, each sold as a product |
| Handover to humans | Live takeover by your team, conversation attached | Not described; into the helpdesk or contact centre it integrates with |
| Smallest customer it makes sense for | A five-person company, free | Enterprise; contracts reported by Vendr from about $30K a year |

### Where Ada wins

A contact centre on Genesys or Amazon Connect, with ServiceNow or Salesforce behind it and a phone queue to automate, should be talking to Ada. Voice is a first-class product there, the named integrations are the enterprise stack, and the Developer Toolkit gives an engineering team APIs, MCP and SDKs to work with. We answer in web chat on your site, do not do voice or email, and connect anything only your staff can reach with you rather than from a catalogue.

### A price you can read

Ada's pricing page offers a consultation and no numbers. The only figures anywhere are third-party: Vendr reports contracts averaging about $70K a year, from roughly $30K to $300K and more, historically billed per resolution at $1 to $3.50 and moving toward per-conversation pricing. None of that is on Ada's own site. Algomo's is: a free plan, then $50 to $500 a month, chosen by you, and that amount is the most you can be charged. It buys credits; a conversation that helped someone costs five, one that went nowhere costs nothing.

### Two MCPs pointing opposite ways

Ada's Developer Toolkit exposes APIs, MCP and SDKs to integrate Ada into your existing enterprise systems, their words: a door into Ada. Algomo's MCP is the other direction. The whole platform is operated from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude, or from the dashboard, and the agent finds the endpoints your own pages call and runs them in the visitor's signed-in session.

## Where these rows come from

Fetched 3 September 2026, from ada.cx. The consultation form and the absence of tiers are on [the pricing page](https://www.ada.cx/pricing); Playbooks, the Performance Center, the Developer Toolkit with its APIs, MCP and SDKs, and the named integrations are on [the platform page](https://www.ada.cx/platform); Voice, Messaging and Email as products, the orchestration of multiple LLMs and the Toronto base are on [the homepage](https://www.ada.cx/). The integrations, resolution-platform and ai-agent pages returned 404 on the read date. The contract figures are reported by Vendr, not on Ada's own site, and are labelled as such wherever they appear here. Algomo's cells are read from [this site's pricing page](/pricing).

## Questions, answered

### We run Genesys and Zendesk. Where does Algomo fit?

On your website. Algomo answers visitors there and your team takes over live when needed, with the transcript attached; on Business and Enterprise we wire escalation into the helpdesk you already use. It does not sit in your phone queue; if that is the job, Ada is the better fit.

### Can we see it working before we talk to anyone?

Yes. The free plan is self-serve, so you can point it at your own site and judge it against your own questions before any call. Ada's route is a booked consultation.

### Do we have to migrate anything?

No. The agent works from the systems your site already uses, so nothing moves. Anything only your staff can reach, we connect with you.
