# A Webflow chatbot that reads the site you already published

Algomo goes live from the Custom code tab in your Site settings. It reads your public pages and the CMS collections they load, answers visitors in web chat, and hands over to a person when it should. No Webflow app, no embed component to place on every page.

## What it needs from you

A URL and one script tag. Browse your site once with our extension and it records what your pages load: the static pages, the CMS collection pages and whatever your templates fetch to fill them. The agent builds its own tools from that and answers from the live site, so a collection item you publish this afternoon is what it knows by this evening's first visitor.

Anything a signed-in visitor can already see on your site, the agent reads in their own session. Anything only your staff can reach, we connect with you.

## Where the script goes on Webflow

The widget is a single script from cdn.algomo.com. In Webflow it goes in Site settings, Custom code tab, in either the Head code or the Footer code section, and applies to every page. Webflow lets you add site-wide custom code when the site has an active Site plan or your Workspace is on a paid plan, and the section takes up to 50,000 characters; the tag is one line. Custom code shows in preview and goes live when you publish.

## Questions, answered

### What it can do

**What can a Webflow chatbot do beyond answering from a FAQ?**

Answer from your pages and CMS items as they are right now, walk a visitor to the right page, book a slot in a Google or Outlook calendar, and hand over to a person with the transcript. Your team is notified by email and Slack.

**Does it know my CMS collections?**

Yes. It reads the collection pages and the data your templates load to render them, so a new blog post, case study or product is answered from the moment it is published.

**Does it send emails, SMS or WhatsApp messages?**

No. It is web chat on your site, and it stops when the visitor leaves. It notifies your team by email and Slack; it does not message visitors on other channels.

### Your site

**Is there a Webflow app to install?**

No. One script tag in Site settings puts it live on every page. There is no app to install, approve or keep updated, and nothing to place on the canvas.

**Does it work on a Webflow Ecommerce site?**

Yes. It reads the product pages and the data they load, and works in the visitor's own session, so it sees what that visitor sees. Webflow notes that any script added to an Ecommerce site sits outside its control; the tag is one line and you can read what it loads.

**What happens when we redesign or restructure the site?**

The script stays in Site settings, and the agent picks up the changed pages and repairs whatever mapping broke.

### Getting started

**How is the agent built and changed?**

Over MCP, from the coding agent you already use: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude. Or from the dashboard. You describe what you want it to know and do, test it against your live site, and stage the change before it goes to visitors.

**What does it cost on a Webflow site?**

You pick a monthly amount and it buys credits: a conversation that actually helped someone costs five, one that went nowhere costs nothing, and the amount is the most you can be charged, so growing traffic alone never raises the bill. There is no overage: run out early and you renew early, or wait for the month to turn. Every number is on this site's pricing page.

**What does Algomo need to get started on Webflow?**

A URL, and access to Site settings to paste one script tag. Public pages and collections are discovered; anything behind a login we set up with you rather than find automatically.
